Hello and welcome to Around the Ville. My name if J.L. and I grew up in Wintersville, Ohio but lived away from the area for a long time. I returned to the Ohio Valley in 2004 and I graduated in 2009 from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Mental Health and Human Services.
I created this blog for one of my journalism classes because I wanted to focus on the many good things happening in the Ohio Valley and the interesting and good people who live here. I also like to share a little bit of history about the area.

I love your blog! We met tonight at the FITF meeting. I learned a lot from your links. I did want to mention that the link you have to Jefferson Co. Chamber of Commerce is actually in Illinois.
